This necklace was inspired by a semicircular shape, which was a Pre Columbian nose ornament. Nose ornaments were among the earliest forms of facial ornaments, particularly in Colombia. 13th-16th Century.
24 Karat gold-plate over pewter. 16″ Lapis bead necklace.
