Description
Following the custom of the time, a suitor gave his intended a golden coin, usually in a small silver box. Our reproduction of a 17th-century Dutch marriage box is engraved with figures depicting trust, hope, prudence, love, and tenderness.
Height 2 1/2 in. Available in silver plate or sterling silver.
