Description
Peter Carl Fabergé (Russian, 18461920), jeweler to the last two czars of the Romanov dynasty, emphasized creativity and workmanship in making his intricate jewelry and objets d’art. His workshop was especially renowned for its exquisite designs using flowers and floral elements. Produced in cooperation with The Cleveland Museum of Art. Made expressly for the Metropolitan Museum in the United States.
24 kt. gold-plated sterling silver, with cultured freshwater pearls and rhinestones. Length 7/8 in., width 1/4 in. Pierced, with 14 kt. gold ear wires.
